CSPR welcomes reduction of mealie meal prices

The Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) has encouraged government to formulate policies that will ensure that mealie meal prices are kept low.

CSPR Acting Executive Director Makani Mzyece has told QFM News that the move by government to reduce mealie meal prices further is welcome and that government should maintain and if possible reduce prices even further.

Mr. Mzyece notes that it is not easy for some families to have descent meals in a day going by the recent high prices of mealie meal.

He says government should come up with modalities of ensuring that mealie meal is affordable to most of the people.
