Acting President Ngosa Simbyakula
Acting Republican President Ngosa Simbyakula has sworn in five Permanent Secretaries on the instruction of President Edgar Lungu.
Dr. Simbyakula says he is in constant contact with the Head of State who is in South Africa receiving medical treatment.
Dr. Simbyakula says he has been instructed to swear in the five to enable them begin to work immediately.
Those worn-in today are Stardy Mwale as Lusaka Province Permanent Secretary, Ronald Simwinga as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance,and Bright Nundwe as Muchinga Province Permanent Secretary.
Others are Godfrey Malama as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services and Mwaangala Liyomba as Permanent Secretary for Western Province.
And Dr Simbyakula reminded those that have been sworn-in that the President settled for them because he has a lot of confidence in them.
He has since wished the five the best of lack as they take up their positions.
