Scott has exhibited political maturity – Ng’oma

Political scientist Alex Ng’oma has observed that former Vice President Guy Scott has exercised an unprecedented level of political maturity to accept his current status as an ordinary Member of Parliament.

Dr. Ng’oma states that the political maturity the former Vice President who is also Lusaka Central Member of Parliament has exhibited should serve as a big lesson to other politicians who are in a habit of talking anyhow even when it is not necessary.

He says it is always important, when faced with such a situation as Dr. Scott is in, for politicians to exercise patience and be reflective.

Dr. Ng’oma adds that the fact that Dr. Scott has opted to remain quite should not prompt people to speak on his behalf.

He has told Qfm News that Dr. Scott’s decision to remain mute following his relegation to the backbench in Parliament should be accepted and that people should wait until he himself finds it appropriate to tell the nation what he is thinking.
