Evangelical Youth Alliance International Executive Director Moses Lungu says those rejoicing over President Lungu’s illness are inhuman.
Reverend Lungu notes that any normal human being cannot rejoice over someone’s illness no matter how much they hate that person.
He says it is normal for any person to fall sick at any time regardless of their position in society.
Rev Lungu adds that the best the people of Zambia can do is to pray for the Head of State so that he carries on with the mandate given to him by the people of Zambia and by God himself who gives leaders.
Rev. Lungu says the people of Zambia should not blow out of proportion the issue of the president’s health but should instead commend him for coming out in the open and telling the people of Zambia what is wrong with him.
He says President Lungu has demonstrated a true leadership spirit by being open to the people of Zambia over his health.
Rev. Lungu has further assured President Lungu that the church and the people of Zambia will continue to pray for him.
