It’s too early to judge Lungu’s performance – Norwegian envoy

Norwegian Ambassador to Zambia Arve Ofstad

Norwegian Ambassador to Zambia Arve Ofstad has observed that it is too early to judge President Edgar Lungu’s performance.

Mr. Ofstad however thinks that President Lungu has shown good signs by embracing all politicians and Zambians.

He has told Qfm News that his government has also taken note that President Lungu has also shown commitment to abiding by the tenants of good governance.

The Norwegian envoy thinks that this is a plus for Zambia’s new president.

He notes that it is also good move for President Lungu to promise continuation from where late President Michael Sata left.

Mr. Ofstad is of the view this will help Zambia move to another level in terms of infrastructure development.
