The Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) has urged all Zambians to irrespective of their political affiliations to pray for President Edgar Lungu’s quick recovery.
FDD Spokesperson Antonio Mwanza in a statement issued to QFM News says Zambians need President Lungu up and running for he is the head of state and that his absence from duty has negative repercussions to the country’s progress.
Mr Mwanza says the FDD prays for the healing hand of God to touch the President and restore his health again.
He adds that the FDD’s thoughts and prayers are with President Lungu and the first family during his illness.
Meanwhile Mr Mwanza has commended State House for the updates on the President’s condition.
He says such levels of openness are important as they assure the nation and removes suspicions.
