The Patriotic Front youths in Lusaka province are not happy with the behavior and utterances of Father Richard Luonde attacking President Edgar Lungu.
PF Lusaka province youth secretary Stanley Chumya says Father Luonde is a clergy man who should know how to advise citing that his behavior since President Lungu ascended to power has been a source of concern from every Zambian.
Mr. Chumya says Fr. Luonde has left the pulpit to come into the political arena through the back door all in the name of speaking for the Zambian Christian fraternity.
He has challenged Fr. Luonde to genuinely resign like Alliance for Better Zambia (ABZ) Fr. Frank Bwalya did and join politics noting that Fr. Luonde has lamentably failed and forgotten his role as a priest to play a political advisory role.
Mr. Chumya says Fr. Luonde should be reminded that his speeches should always contain the tone to preach peace and uniting the nation and not a tone to divide the nation like he’s been doing.
He further states that as PF youths in Lusaka province they demand that Fr. Luonde resigns and have challenged him to tame his tongue and cage his ego.
