The Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services Chishimba Kambwili has expressed disappointment with Mbala District Commissioner and Town Clerk for keeping the district dirty.
Mr. Kambwili who is also Chief government spokesperson says he is particularly disappointed to see the offices of the District Commissioner and the Town Clerk to be very unkempt.
He thinks that Mbala District is dirty because the two senior most officials have abandoned their supervisory role of ensuring that the District is kept clean.
Mr. Kambwili vented his displeasure during the commemoration of the International Women’s day at Mbala Secondary School.
And Mr. Kambwili who paraded the District Commissioner Best Kabulembe and Town Clerk Ronald Daka has blamed the two of being responsible for the uncleanliness of the district.
He has directed the District Commissioner and the Town Clerk to get to work by ensuring that all the infrastructures and surroundings in district are kept clean befitting the municipality status.
Mr. Kambwili warned the two senior government officials that heads will roll next time when he finds the district still in the same status quo.
