LAZ is duty bound to protect Zambian constitution- Chisanga

Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) President George Chisanga says his association is duty bound to protect the republican constitution in all circumstances.

Mr Chisanga has told QFM News that it is for this reason that LAZ will join the discontinued case involving the Director of Public Prosecutions as the friend of the court should the complainant Newton Ng’uni appeal to the High Court.

Mr Chisanga has told Qfm News that his association expects that constitutional issues will be raised if the appeal is upheld.

Mr. Chisanga says the interest of his association in the DPP case is to ensure that the constitution is respected at every given time.
