Masebo expelled from PF

Chongwe Member of Parliament Sylvia Masebo has been expelled from the ruling Patriotic Front.

Ms Masebo has been expelled from the ruling party for gross misconduct and indiscipline.

In a letter of expulsion dated 24th February 2015 made available to QFM News, PF President Edgar Lungu says Ms Masebo has been expelled from the PF with effect from the date of her suspension.

President Lungu says by copy of the letter , the Speaker of the National Assembly has been notified of her expulsion from the PF.

President Lungu says Ms Masebo’s expulsion follows her being charged for bringing the name of the party and the party President into disrepute where she openly campaigned for an opposition presidential candidate while being a member

of the party and further to her suspension from the party on the 1st December 2014.
