LAZ optimistic judicial reforms will progress well under Mambilima

The Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) has expressed optimism the ongoing judicial reforms will progress well with appointment of Justice Irene Mambilima as Chief Justice.

LAZ president George Chisanga says his association believes the ratification of the appointment of Justice Mambilima as the head of the country’s Judiciary is a positive step.

Mr. Chisanga has told Qfm News that he believes Justice Mambilima will place the challenge of reforming the Judiciary top on her priorities.

He says his association is however alive to the fact that Justice Mambilima faces huge challenges in the reforming the Judiciary, but that LAZ is confident of her competence and experience.
