Opposition is not giving govt chance to work

Political Scientist Alex Ng’oma has observed that opposition parties are not giving chance to the governing party to do its work thereby creating tension.

Dr. Ng’oma notes that though polarization has been there for several years now, it must be noted that distrust is what is causing tension in the country.

He states that the opposition believes that the government is making wrong decisions, whilst the party in power believes they are doing their level best which is causing distrust between the two sides.

Dr. Ng’oma notes that the constitution making process is no longer a contentious issue in the country considering that government has already released a roadmap and everyone knows how the constitution will be enacted.

He has advised both the ruling and opposition political parties to sit together and see how best they can work together.

Dr Ng’oma says the enmity between the party in power and opposition will not take them anywhere.

Dr. Ng’oma has since encouraged all political players in the country to swallow their pride and work together in the best interest of the nation.
