US Ambassador to Zambia Eric Shultz
US American Ambassador to Zambia Eric Shultz has appealed to government to focus its attention on improving the key potential sectors of the economy.
Ambassador Shultz has told Qfm news in an interview that the most important thing is for government to quickly create an enabling environment for investors to invest more in Zambia.
He notes that Zambia’s key potential sectors are power generation, tourism, mining and agriculture which require serious attention for the country to continue generating income and have a stable economy in the future.
The US envoy says if these sectors are well managed, Zambia will grow its economy to greater heights and challenges such as poverty will reduce.
Ambassador Shultz has also called on government to allow more investors to invest in different areas as this will shape the country’s future economy.
