The Zambia Center for Inter Party Dialogue (ZCID) HAS observed that the constitution making process is creating tension between the ruling party and the opposition.

ZCID Executive Director Horrance Chilando has told QFM News in an interview that this is because the ruling party has made its own position on the constitution which makes the opposition uncomfortable.

Mr Chilando says it is for this reason that his organization is consulting the political parties, church mother bodies and Civil Society Organization to see how best they can bring political parties together and iron out their differences.

He is hopeful that the tension between the ruling party and the opposition will come to an end once they dialogue.
