Political Scientist Alex Ng’oma has counseled the Grand Coalition to remain focused on the main foundation they formed the coalition if they are to remain relevant to the constitution making process.

Dr. Ng’oma has told QFM News in a telephone interview that there was unity of purpose when the coalition was formed which he says is no longer there.

Dr. Ng’oma notes that some individuals in the coalition appear to be driving some political party agendas which he says is the main cause of their division.

He says there is need for the coalition to avoid promoting individual agendas but rather stick to the reasons why it was formed.

He notes that for as long as they will not stick to their objects, it will be too difficult for them to survive.

Dr. Ng’oma has since urged the remaining Grand Coalition members to remain focused and renew their commitment to the group if they want it to survive.
