The Forum for African Women Educationalists of Zambia (FAWEZA) has called on government to expedite the formulation of education policies in a bid to address the challenges the education sector is going through.
FAWEZA Executive Director Agnes Shipanuka says the education sector has over the past been struggling with a lot of challenges which she believes can be addressed by formulating favorable policies.
Ms Shipanuka says it is for this reason that her organization is happy with the new Education Minister saying he has the zeal of expediting the formulation of education policies.
She has since urged Education Minister Michael Kaingu to empower more women in the education sector stating that women play a vital role in the growth of the sector.
