Lungu should call for a meeting with opposition – Chipimo

National Restoration party (NAREP) President Elias Chipimo says President Edgar Lungu should call a meeting with all opposition leaders in the country to discuss a broad range of challenges facing the country.

Mr Chipimo says the meeting should discuss among other issues the enactment of the new constitution, tribalism, unemployment, economic development and rural poverty.

Mr. Chipimo says one of the greatest problems the country is facing is that people are not prepared to tell themselves the truth but are prepared to live a lie each and every day.

He notes that Zambians have allowed their leaders to take them for granted and get away with it, forgetting about improving people’s livelihoods.

Mr. Chipimo says the country needs a radical President who is his own man and not afraid to do something that he or she has never done before.

He says President Lungu should rise to the challenge of leadership and deal with the most pressing issues the country is facing.
