Task Force on illegal land allocation is still alive – Kampyongo

Chairperson of the Task Force on illegal land allocation, Steven Kampyongo says the team is still alive to the task despite him moved from the Ministry of Home Affairs to the Office of the Vice President.

Mr. Kampyongo says government remains committed to ensuring there is sanity in the allocation of land more especially in Lusaka.

Mr. Kampyongo says he has hope that his colleagues at the Ministry of Home Affairs will ensure that they do the right thing.

The Deputy Minister in the Office of the Vice President says people suggesting that the task force has died a natural death following his transfer will be disappointed because the team is still active.

He has warned that government will not tolerate illegal land allocation stating that people ought to follow the right procedure when acquiring land.
