Ng’oma advises Zambians to give Lungu time

Political Scientist Alex Ng’oma has advised Zambians to give Republican President Edgar Lungu time and space to deliver on his campaign promises.

And Dr Ng’oma has described the Cabinet constituted by President Lungu as a balanced one.

Dr. Ng’oma has told QFM News in a telephone interview that it is not motivating to note that some people have already started criticizing the Head of State within a few weeks of being in office.

Dr. Ng’oma is however, hopeful that President Lungu will deliver going by the Cabinet he has put in place which he has described as impressive.

He says there is need for people to be patient with the President and avoid criticizing him unnecessarily, considering that he needs to put things in place.

He notes that the inclusion of MMD and UPND Members of Parliament in government is an indication that the President is not looking at who favored him during campaigns, but who can deliver to the expectations of Zambians.

And Dr. Ng’oma says some ministries have a lot of work which cannot be done by one deputy minister the reason why President Lungu could have decided to put two deputy ministers in certain ministries.
