Zambia face Niger in must-win U17 tie

Zambia face hosts Niger on Wednesday in a must-win penultimate Group A match at the 2015 CAF Under-17 Cup.

Junior Chipolopolo are third in Group A on zero points after losing 1-0 to second placed Guinea in their opening match on Sunday.

Niger are bottom of Group A on goal difference after they lost 2-0 to leaders Nigeria on the same date.

“We missed three good chances but of course that is water under the bridge,” Kaunda said.

“You can be rest assured that we shall play better in the next game.”

A defeat for Zambia is certain to end their interest in their debut outing at the CAF Under-17 Cup.

Kaunda is also very aware that victory is a must with two-time champions and tournament favorites Nigeria to come in their last match on February 21.
