MMD is still a strong party – Muchima

MMD Ikelengi Member of Parliament Elijah Muchima says the MMD is still a strong and big party except it has no shepherd to lead it.

Mr. Muchima says there is too much selfishness in those in the leadership of the party.

He says a good leader listens to the people unlike the case is where party President Nevers Mumba does not want to listen to calls by party members to go for a convention.

He states that the MMD is present everywhere in the country but that poor leadership by Dr. Mumba and his administration is what is causing confusions in the party.

Mr Muchima says Dr Mumba is has allegedly failed to provide leadership because he is not an administrator.

Mr. Muchima says once the former ruling party has proper leadership it will be back on its feet and take its rightful position on the country’s political scene.

He states that there is need for the party to reorganise itself as quickly as possible in readiness for the 2016 general elections or risk performing poorly again.
