Ignore detractors, Lungu advised

Evangelical Youth Alliance International (EYAI) has encouraged President Edgar Lungu never to be distracted by negative statements by some sections of society.

EYAI Executive Director Moses Lungu notes that President Lungu has so far shown leadership and political will to work with opposition political parties in governing the nation hence the need for all well meaning Zambians to support this move.

Reverend Lungu notes the need for Zambians to change the mentality of condemning every decision the republican President make.

He states that in as much as some decisions may be wrong and may not reflect the will of the people; stakeholders have the responsibility to ensure that they find a better way of advising the Head of state.

Mr Lungu says there is need to begin appreciating leaders and encourage them to do the right things that will move the country forward.
