Delay in having full cabinet affecting development – AAJD

Authentic Advocates for Justice and Democracy (AAJD) has echoed calls for President Edgar Lungu to expedite the constitution of his full Cabinet.

AAJD President Eneya Mwale says the delay in constituting the full Cabinet might affect service delivery by the affected ministries.

Mr Mwale adds that the delay in appointing ministers to the remaining ministries might also bring about panic and anxiety in the workers.

He however, says the appointments the Head of State has made so far are good and seem to have been made on merit.

Meanwhile Mr Mwale has defended President Lungu’s decision to go on a working holiday.

He says President Lungu deserved some rest considering the grueling campaign trail he undertook leading to his election victory.
