Queen Elizabeth the Second has congratulated President Edgar Lungu on his election victory following the 20 January presidential by- election.
In a congratulatory message delivered by the British High Commissioner, James Thornton, to Mr Lungu, the Queen has wished President Lungu and the Zambian people a peaceful and prosperous future.
Queen Elizabeth has further congratulated Mr Lungu on his inauguration as Zambia’s sixth President.
