If Ghana make it to another Afcon final, they’d definitely win, reckons Herve Renard.

The Ivorian coach consoled his Ghanaian counterparts after supervising a 9-8 penalty win in the final on Sunday.

The Frenchman becomes the first man to win the tournament with two different countries, doing it first with Zambia in 2012.

“Ghana is a good side and I have had the privilege of working with some of them and I think they will bounce back,” he said post-match.

“This is their second defeat in the final since 2010 while this would have been our third so they may be lucky the next one they are in next time.

“For me I can say I am a lucky church who had the pleasure of working with extra-ordinary group of players.”

The Elephants could smile following two finals while Ghana have now failed to win a trophy in three finals over thirty-three years.
