Green Party President Peter Sinkamba says his vision is to see that Zambians have easy access to land as it will help in alleviating poverty.

Mr. Sinkamba says all Zambians deserve land, whether for construction of home, agriculture or other purposes and thus the need to make it easier for them to access it.

Mr. Sinkamba states that since 90% of land in Zambia is held under customary tenure, his party intends to transfer lands management functions to ministry responsible for heritage and customs and create a decentralized Lands Management Agency to take over responsibility of land management from Local Government.

And the Greens President has pledged to reduce poverty, and to develop the country’s infrastructure and improve the economy.

He says fighting poverty is on top of his administration’s agenda.
