Opposition urged to provide reasonable criticism on Lungu

Opposition political parties have been called upon to provide reasonable and quality checks and balances on President Edgar Lungu considering that he will only be in office for about one year six months.

Political Activist Maurice Malambo says it is important that the opposition do not politicize everything that President Lungu will be doing.

Mr. Malambo has told Qfm News that what President Lungu needs is the full support of the opposition and all the people and thus the need for the opposition to be realistic with their criticism of the President.

He says in the past it has been noticed that the opposition just criticizes everything in the name of providing checks and balances.

Mr. Malambo says it is for this reason that the opposition political parties together with other relevant stakeholders must consider working with government for the betterment of the nation.
