National Restoration Party (NAREP) President Elias Chipimo Junior says President Edgar Lungu’s government appointments have been exceptional so far.
Mr. Chipimo however, says the delay by President Lungu to appoint a full Cabinet is worrying and a source of concern.
Mr. Chipimo says it was expected that several days after Mr. Lungu’s inauguration, he should have a completed constitution his Cabinet by now and immediately get down to work.
He says President Lungu does not have much time remaining before the 2016 general election and the earlier he realizes that, the better it will be for him.
Mr. Chipimo notes that for things to move in the country, a complete Cabinet should be in place.
The NAREP leader has encouraged President Lungu to continue with the kind of appointments he is making based on who is able to effectively deliver in the different fields.
