Scott is still a valuable PF member – Chama

Patriotic Front (PF) Secretary General Davis Chama says former Republican Vice President Guy Scott remains a valuable member of the ruling party.

Mr. Chama says despite having been replaced as republican Vice President, President Edgar Lungu and the entire ruling party still hold Dr. Scott in the same high esteem as they did when President Michael Sata was alive.

Mr Chama has told Qfm News by telephone that the fact that Dr. Scott is a founding father of the ruling PF and Member of Parliament, his contribution to the party will not be belittled.

He says Dr. Scott will continue to receive the same respect as before and that all his contribution to the PF will be regarded as valuable as that of any other loyal member of the party.

Mr Chama states that despite what happened during the succession period following the demise of President Michael Sata, Dr. Scott will not be discriminated against by any member of the ruling party.

The PF Secretary General states that this is because reconciliation has settled in the ruling party.
