President Lungu confers with service Chiefs before departure

Republican President Edgar Lungu has left for Mfuwe on a seven days working holiday.

President Lungu is accompanied by the first Lady, Finance Minister Alexander Chikwanda and other officials.

President Lungu says he will use his holiday to finish constituting his Cabinet.

Mr Lungu told Journalists that he will upon returning from his working holiday embark on official visits to Zimbabwe and Angola to meet his counterparts in the two countries.

The Presidential challenger jet carrying the Head of State left Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at 11:50 hours.

Vice President Inonge Wina and other senior government officials saw off the President.
