Finance Minister Alexander Chikwanda has described late African Development Bank (ADB) Country Representative Freddie Kwesiga as a vigilant and devoted man.
Speaking to journalists shortly after signing in the book of condolences at ADB Headquarters in Lusaka this afternoon, Mr. Chikwanda says Dr. Kwesiga was instrumental to supporting key sectors such as agriculture and construction in Zambia.
Mr. Chikwanda says Dr. Kwesiga was always available to give the Zambian government to offer full support and was part of the developmental agenda.
He says the late ADB Country Representative spared no effort in his contribution to the development of Zambia.
The Finance Minister says under Dr. Kwesiga’s leadership of the bank, Zambia has witnessed rapid movement of programs due to the financial and technical support he offered to the Zambian government.
