Auditor General Anna Chifungula says no stone will be left unturned in curbing the abuse of public funds.
Ms Chifungula says her office is working tirelessly to ensure that public funds are well safeguarded.
Ms. Chifungula says all public officers have the responsibility to ensure that they remain clean and honest when to the use of public funds by accounting for utilization of the funds.
She notes that though there has been a lot of misuse of public funds by some public service officers, the trend is slowly vanishing because of the stringent measures government has put in place.
Ms Chifungula says her office will continue working closely with the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC), Financial Intelligence Unit and the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) by ensuring that there is transparency and order in handling public funds.
