New Home Affairs Minister Davies Mwila has assured the nation that he will not tolerate violence whether from the ruling or opposition political parties.
Mr. Mwila has told QFM News in an interview that his first task is to ensure that law and order in the country is preserved.
He states that he will not tolerate any violence coming from any political party because violence is number one enemy of democracy.
Mr Mwila says he will endeavor to uphold sanity in the country by ensuring that the Zambia Police Service does what is best for the country.
The Home Affairs Minister has since warned individuals planning to involve themselves in any form of violence that they will be met by the long arm of the law.
