Saunders foresees UPND being strongest 2016 contender

Political activist Dante Saunders says he foresees the opposition UPND being the strongest contender in the 2016 general elections going by its performance in this month’s presidential election.

Mr. Saunders says the UPND’s strengthen is evident in how it has been able to closely compete with the ruling PF.

In an interview with Qfm News Mr. Saunders says despite it being difficult for any political party to effectively campaign within 90 days the UPND has seemingly done a better job to reach out to the grassroots.

Mr. Saunders states that this is why he maintains that losing the January 20th presidential election will not mean the end for a political party like the UPND.

He says the opposition political party still has a chance to form government after this year’s presidential election in the event it does not emerge victorious.
