HH still confident of victory

UPND President Hakainde Hichilema President Hakainde Hichilema has maintained that victory is certain for him.

Speaking to Journalists this morning after holding a private meeting with Electoral Commission of Zambia Directors at Mulungushi International Conference Centre, which is being used as the national results totaling centre, Mr Hichilema could however not disclose what he discussed with the ECZ officials in the meeting.

It is however believed that the UPND leader raised concern over the continued announcement of election results by the ECZ when other areas are voting.

Mr Hichilema says no politician can accept an election which is not free and fair.

Mr Hichilema adds that his party’s Parallel Voter Tabulation (PVT) will remain a secret for now.

He also defended decision by his supporters who blocked the main gate to Mulungushi International Conference Centre saying his supporters have their own concerns.
