Lungu commended for not using public funds during campaigns

Political Activist Dante Saunders says Patriotic Front President Edgar Lungu should be commended for not using public resources during his campaigns.

And Mr. Saunders says claims by the ruling PF government that the constitution roadmap released by the UPND is their roadmap shows that they never even had a roadmap to enact a new constitution.

Mr. Saunders has told QFM News in an interview that though the PF have not used public funds for their campaigns, they should not be trusted with their promises.

He says PF is on record of not fulfilling their 2011 campaign promises and that Zambians should be mindful of this.

Mr. Saunders says the PF never had any clear roadmap to enact a new constitution, adding that from the beginning they have not shown commitment to deliver a new constitution.
