Office of Republican President has become cheap – HH

United Party for National Development (UPND) President Hakainde Hichilema has charged that the office of Republican president has become cheap.

Addressing a rally in Chikuni this afternoon, Mr. Hichilema says even people not fit for the Presidency are vying for the position.

Mr. Hichilema says some aspiring Presidential candidates do not even have a simple councillor but want to be President.

He stresses that governing a nation is not a joke thus the office of the president should be respected.

Mr. Hichilema has urged the people of Chikuni to vote for someone who will address the challenges they are facing urging them to remember the problems they are facing as they cast their votes.

He says if people vote for the Pf, the ruling party will do a donchi kubeba on the people of Zambia and that they will continue to suffer.

Mr. Hichilema has further encouraged the people of Chikuni to turn out in large numbers to vote for him on 20^th January.
