Zambia winger Roderick Kabwe is suffering from a bout of Malaria at the team’s training camp in South Africa.

Coach Honour Janza said the Zanaco utility players condition is being closely monitored by the Zambia medical team in Johannesburg where the team is set to complete its three-week pre-2015 Africa Cup training camp this weekend.

“The players that were injured are getting better, only Roderick has Malaria, but he will back in training soon, apart from that all is well,” Janza said.

Kabwe, who can play at left back and in midfield, will be making his Africa Cup debut when the tournament kicks off on January 17 in Equatorial Guinea.

He is one of eleven domestic based players in the 23-member team Janza has picked for the tournament.

Meanwhile, the players on the mend and back in training are goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene, midfielder Nathan Sinkala and striker Patrick Ngoma.
