Kasonde tells off Sondashi over SF2000

Health Minister Joseph Kasonde says it is wrong for Forum for Democratic Alternative (FDA) President Ludwig Sondashi to continue promising people free Sondashi Formula 2000 medicine if elected Republican President when it has not been approved by government.

Dr. Kasonde has told journalists in Lusaka that as far as he is concerned, the SF2000 remains a traditional medicine and not a scientifically proved medicine.

He says only scientifically proven substances are acceptable for use by Zambians attending official institutions and not traditional medicines.

Dr Kasonde says he personally spoke to Dr. Sondashi and that he is aware that his formula is not yet accepted to be used in health institutions because it is still considered a traditional remedy.

The Health Minister has since advised Dr. Sondashi to stop promising things that are not in confinement with the laws of the land.
