Edgar Lungu used “Panga Method” to become PF President – HH

United Party for National Development (UPND) President Hakainde Hichilema has accused PF President Edgar Lungu of ascending to the presidency by using “Panga method” saying people should not trust him with power.

And the UPND Leader has maintained that he will deliver the constitution before 2016 if elected Republican President.

Speaking during a rally at Mahatma Ghandi Grounds in Mtendere today, Mr. Hichilema says his presidential opponents should not doubt him when he says he will recognize Henry Kanyanta Sosala if elected president.

Mr. Hichilema says it is unfortunate that the PF President Edgar Lungu is riding on his promises saying he is on record saying he has no vision for the country.

Speaking at the same rally, Chongwe Member of Parliament Silvia Masebo appealed to the UPND Leader to consider removing political structures in markets and bus stations saying PF cadres are the ones collecting taxes.

Ms Masebo says marketeers are paying to local authorities as well as cadres saying that is why the councils are failing to pay their workers money on time.

And for Republican President Rupiah Banda’s son, Andrew Banda, says there is no doubt that Mr. Hichilema is the sixth Zambia President come 20th January, 2015.

Some of the notable people present at the rally include; Former PF Eastern Province Chairman Lameck Mangani, MMD Chairperson for legal affairs Bradford Machila, Political Activist Dante Saunders and former Communication and Transport Minister, William Harrington among others.
