PF in Mandevu laments lack of reconciliation at grassroots

Mandevu Constituency Patriotic Front Chairman Moses Makasa has lamented that the reconciliation which has taken place in the ruling party has left out the grassroots.

Mr. Makasa notes that the reconciliation in the party is only among top party officials.

He wonders why the top leadership of the party has not extended the reconciliation to the grassroots, stating most of those who supported other candidates in the run up to the PF General Conference have been sidelined in the ongoing campaigns.

Mr Makasa says those that have been sidelined feel as though they are no longer part of the ruling party.

He says the top leadership of the party has failed to bring the party together by failing to handle the differences in the party in a manner that unites the party.

Mr Makasa says this is the more reason why some party members have opted to support opposition candidates in the election.

Mr Makasa has since appealed to the PF top leadership to show leadership by ensuring that all party members work together.
