Nakonde Member of Parliament Able Sichula was today booed at a PF rally by Nakonde residents in the presence of PF President Edgar Lungu for failing to perform.

The residents passed a vote of no confidence in their Member of Parliament as they shouted that they did not want him anymore.

And PF President Edgar Lungu has warned PF Members of Parliament that what has happened to Mr. Sichula is a wakeup call to all of them.

Addressing a mammoth rally in Nakonde today, Mr Lungu said he will not tolerate under-performing Members of Parliament come 2016.

And Mr. Lungu has accused the opposition of auctioning the country to their funders.

Mr Lungu assured the gathered crowd that if elected Republican President he will widen the Great North Road which he said is in a deplorable state.

Mr. Lungu has also assured residents of Nakonde that if elected Republican President he will work closely with the Tanzania President to address the challenges the Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA) is currently facing.

Speaking at the same rally, Shiwang’andu Member of Parliament Steven Kampyongo appealed to the PF President to consider working on the Great North Road in Muchinga province once elected President.

Mr. Kampyongo says a lot of lives have been lost due to the bad state of the road.
