Lungu promises to address challenges facing farmers

Residents of Isoka District in Muchinga Province yesterday waited for long hours before being addressed by Patriotic Front President Edgar Lungu.

Mr. Lungu who touched down at Isoka Airstrip at 18:30 promised the residents that he would address the challenges facing farmers and the poor road network in the area.

Speaking during a mammoth rally at President Park last evening, Mr. Lungu told the residents that if they loved late Republican President Michael Sata, they should vote for him for continuity.

He says skill transfer for the youths is key for their development and promised to honor them by empowering them.

The PF President also apologized for turning up late for the rally, attributing this to a tight schedule.
