HH would win if election was held today – Saunders

Political analyst Dante Saunders says UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema would win the presidential election if it was to be held today going by the support he is presently receiving.

Mr. Saunders says from his own assessment of the country’s current political landscape, Mr. Hichilema would win by at least 60 percent of the national vote.Dante

Mr. Saunders has however told QFM News that it is also possible that such a rating of the UPND presidential candidate can change in the remaining two weeks before the election as any other contender can still emerge stronger than him.

He says given the ratings putting Mr. Hichilema as the favorite to win the 20th January election on the basis of the numbers on his side, if he was to lose he would have still done his best.

Mr Saunders notes that Mr. Hichilema has demonstrated that he is ready to serve the nation and therefore a loss for him in the forthcoming election would not mean the end of the world for him.
