Set you minds on education – YWCA encourages youths

The Young Women Christian Association (YWCA) has urged youths in the country to set their minds on education for a better future and make a difference by emulating the elders in order to preserve Zambian culture.

YWCA President Lucy Masiye says if youths want to become good future leaders they should not engage themselves in risky activities that would endanger their lives but should instead concentrate on education.

She notes that the country’s future depends on the youths hence the need for them to begin preparing now.

Ms. Masiye has urged parents to and Churches to teach children the importance of the Zambian culture from the onset so that they grow up into responsible citizens.

She has further has also called on other Non-Governmental Organizations that have a passion for youths and the development of the country to empower more youths for a better Zambia.
