PF S. province member accuse DCs of supporting Rainbow party

A Patriotic Front member in Southern province has accused some District Commissioners of supporting the newly formed Rainbow party of former PF Secretary General Wynter Kabimba.

Lovemore Kanyama has since appealed to the party hierarchy to quickly investigate the matter before the party loses popularity in the province.

Mr. Kanyama says it is clear and worrying to see how some District Commissioners are secretly mobilizing people to support the Rainbow party.

He says there is need for party leadership to seriously consider looking into what is happening in the province.

But Patriotic Front Secretary General Davies Chama says the party will consider looking into the matter.

Mr. Chama has since cautioned the District Commissioners to desist from being actively involved in politics because they are civil servants whose allegiance should be to the party in government.
