PF’s Lungu insists he will not use public resources in campaigns

Ruling PF President Edgar Lungu will tomorrow fly to Northern Province for his scheduled campaign program.

Mr. Lungu has insisted that no public facilities or public resources will be used in this campaign.

Mr. Lungu who is also Defense and Justice Minister has also  insisted that his party should raise its own resources and makes all arrangements for his travels and campaigns.

He has also called for a campaign that complies with all the electoral regulations besides urging party officials and supporters to remain peaceful despite all the provocation that emanates from innuendos and insults directed at the party and his candidature.

In a statement released to Qfm News PF presidential spokesperson  Harry Kalaba has disclosed Mr. Lungu who is expected to land at Samora Machel International Airport at 09:00hrs is expected to go by Helicopter to Kaputa and Nsama Districts to hold his public meetings.

Mr. Kalaba who is also Foreign Affairs Minister states that the PF president will start with a public rally in Kaputa at 11hrs and He will later have another public rally at 13:00hrs at Nsama Boma in the new district.

He says the ruling party’s leader wind up the day with a rally at Muzabwera Grounds in Mpulungu District at 15:00hrs.

On Tuesday the 30th of December Mr. Lungu is expected to address Mbala residents at Lucheche Grounds at 11hrs after which he will travel to Mungwi for another public rally that will be held at Presidents Park at the Boma in Mungwi District at 13:00hrs.

And on Wednesday the 31st of December Mr. Lungu will then move to Muchinga Province where is he is expected to start his program by paying a courtesy call at the family of late President, Michael Sata in Mpika at 09:00hrs.

He will hold a public rally at 11:00hrs in Mpika and then move to Chinsali, where he is expected to hold another public rally at 13:00hrs.

On the same day the PF president will hold a public rally in Isoka at 16:00hrs.
