Resign from MMD, Kunda asks members endorsing HH

Muchinga Member of Parliament Howard Kunda says it is immoral for some senior MMD members to endorse UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema in the forthcoming Presidential by-election.

Mr. Kunda has advised all senior members of the party endorsing Mr. Hichilema to resign on moral grounds.

Mr. Kunda says it is wrong for anyone to hold on to the MMD and yet they are supporting another political party.

Mr. Kunda, who is also MMD National Youth Chairperson, says the opposition MMD never entered into any alliance with the UPND as purported by some party members.

He says the issue of an alliance was not concluded following the wrangles that were happening in the party.
