ZCID advises political parties to leave differences behind

The Zambia Center for Inter Party Dialogue (ZCID) has called on political parties to ensure they leave all their differences behind and open a new chapter next year.

ZCID Executive Director Horrance Chilando is confident that political parties have leant lessons on how best they can handle their differences in an amicable manner.

Mr. Chilando notes that 2014 has been a year full of intra-party conflicts and not inter-party conflicts.

He says political parties should in the year 2015 learn to resolve their differences internally as this will inspire confidence in the majority Zambians.

He notes that few cases of inter-party rivalry were recorded early this year and that political parties were quick to resolve such differences.

Mr. Chilando has since advised all political parties to ensure that in 2015 they focus on intra-party conflict resolution.
