Mwanza advises Zambians to vote wisely

Zambians have been called upon to vote for the next republican president based on merit and track record.

Forum for Development and Democracy (FDD) Spokesperson Antonio Mwanza has implored the people of Zambia to scrutinize all candidates taking part in the 2015 presidential election.

Nawakwi EMr Mwanza says FDD president Edith Nawakwi is a candidate with a proven track record which can be traced.

Mr. Mwanza has told QFM that the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP) are some of Ms. Nawakwi’s brainchild when she served as minister in late former President Fredrick Chiluba’s administration.

He adds that it was Ms. Nawakwi’s proposal that the country needed to have a Ministry of Energy at the time such a Ministry never existed.

Mr. Mwanza says when Ms. Nawakwi was Minister of Agriculture, the country further saw increased diversification of crop production.

The FDD Spokesperson states that such a clear track record is therefore evident enough that the people of Zambia should vote for Ms. Nawakwi as she has already demonstrated her good leadership skills.

He adds that among all the candidates vying for the country’s highest office Ms. Nawakwi is the most experienced and tested candidate.
